Ofsted Inspection Report 2016

November 2016 – A quote from the letter to Mr Fox (Headteacher) from Mr Clive Moss, Her Majesty’s Inspector of Education.

“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You have sustained the strengths noted at that inspection. The pupils continue to make good progress in the school’s calm, warm and understanding environment. You and the governing body have made sure that the pupils benefit from a broad curriculum, which provides effectively for their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. The school has, understandably, substantially gained the confidence of parents.”

Parent Survey

In the past we have asked parents to complete a questionnaire about how you think the school is doing. Sometimes a request comes from Ofsted before an inspection. As most schools do this, the government decided to create a uniform way of collecting parental opinion.

Every school now has its own part on the government website www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk It is from this site Ofsted will gauge parents’ views about a school.

There are 12 questions for you to answer ranging from ‘My child is happy at school’ to ‘Would you recommend this school to another parent’ and you select an answer from strongly agree to strongly disagree.

If you have access to the internet at home, we would be very grateful if you could find time to log on and share your opinion about the school (you’ll need an e-mail address to complete the survey). The survey is very user friendly and should take no more than ten minutes to complete.  For quick access to the survey, just click on the ParentView logo above.
